Vermont Mutual Customers

Dear Valued Vermont Mutual Customers,

We recently received notice from Vermont Mutual that all credit and debit card payments will be subject to a 2.99% fee NOT included in your installment fee or regular billing amount.  To avoid this fee, you may pay by cash or check at our office or use your checking account information to pay online or over the phone.

We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Re:Credit Card Processing Fees

Effective 5/23/2025, a 2.99% processing fee will be charged for premium payments made using a payment card by Vermont Mutual Customers.

Please note that this processing fee is not being charged by Vermont Mutual, but instead is assessed by a third-party payment processing company.Vermont Mutual has outsourced the processing of most premium payments to the processing company (not affiliated with Vermont Mutual), which charges cardholders for the use of its payment processing platform and services.Vermont Mutual customers will be redirected to the processing company’s hosted pop-up window in order to make payment.Vermont Mutual does not receive any of the fees collected by the processing company.

Vermont Mutual customers will still have various no-cost alternative payment methods to utilize, including:

· Creating a “myVM” account to set up recurring EFT payments.

· Making a onetime payment via checking or savings account.

· Mail your payment in full via check.

If you have any questions please reach out to your Marketing Representative.

Sincerely,

Shaun PT Farley

Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer
